Student Evening Items

An opinion page about: Welcome to a wake up call!

In university there is the pretend world and the real world, no offence academics!

An academic cannot come right out and criticise the health care Establishment and say: "The bastards are bent".  Based on my decades as a self appointed lobbyist, seeing time and again that there is no valid justification for containment left me with an opinion that I can venture and students can accept or reject.

Today's chiropractic educators may not mention cruel and unjust aspects of the real world and exaggerate parts of the pretend world as if that is reality.

Graduates will become embroiled in a corrupt commercial world of restraints of trade and global disinformation about chiropractic. Wilk vs. AMA should be 101 introduction to a chiropractic student's education.  "Contain and eliminate the profession of chiropractic is alive and well. See http://www.chiro.org/Wilk/

Fantasy land education will encourage the erroneous belief in an acceptably safe public health system Please read and digest A Journalist's Assignment at: http://www.attadalechiropractic.com.au/news-views/a-journalist's-assignment.aspx

A fantasy education creates a misconception that chiropractors are either accepted or that chiropractic is on the brink of being accepted, I have heard that baloney for 40+years.

Exclusive dealing may be illegal; but not between government and medicine.  The government imposed trade barriers were in place when I began practise and remain there forty plus years later, still without genuine justification.  See:

Please read the foregoing so that we can start the evening from a similar base.

Best wishes,
