The Secret Iatrogenic Epidemic (part 3)

I still need to 'pinch myself' to acknowledge that virtually no patients know about the epidemic, it is real, it has happened for decades, as it still is.  Nothing that I have done has altered that.

I wrote a personal check list. I have asked myself some questions many times.

Are guesstimates of a nation’s iatrogenic toll derived from the medical literature credible?         Yes [ ] No  [ ]

Is the medical literature used for Archer’s guesstimate of 50,000 iatrogenic deaths per year in Australia plausible?              Yes [ ] No  [ ]  

Is the the medical literature used in the US sourced guesstimate of 783,936 iatrogenic deaths per year plausible?                  Yes [ ] No  [ ]

As a source of facts relating to national rates of harm, is the British Medical Journal credible?  Yes [ ] No  [ ]  

In your opinion is Australia’s medical system a or the leading cause of death and injury?       Yes [ ] No  [ ]        

Overall, is the medical treatment within public health acceptably safe?                                  Yes [ ] No  [ ] 

Are 259 deaths a year, the ABS figure quoted by the federal Minister for health, credible?     Yes [ ] No  [ ]

Is the Australian Bureau of Statistic’s estimate of 295 iatrogenic deaths in a year credible?   Yes [ ] No  [ ]

Does Australia’s magnitude of all iatrogenic deaths per year form an iatrogenic epidemic?     Yes [ ] No  [ ]                      

 Does the world’s rate of iatrogenic deaths per year constitute an iatrogenic pandemic?       Yes [ ] No  [ ]

Should Australia’s governments accurately define and publish the iatrogenic death toll?         Yes [ ] No  [ ]                    

Should Australia’s mainstream media accurately report upon the nation’s total iatrogenic toll?  Yes [ ] No  [ ]

Should that media demand that the government publish an accurate  and total iatrogenic toll? Yes [ ] No  [ ]

If there is a decade’s long iatrogenic epidemic/pandemic, should both the government and the media adequately forewarn both the general public and in particular, impending medical victims?    Yes [ ] No  [ ]

Should chiropractors and their associations support increasing public awarenes by adequately informing chiropractic patients about the iatrogenic epidemic?                Yes [ ] No  [ ]  

In your opinion is Australia’s medical system a or the leading cause of death and injury?       Yes [ ] No  [ ]
